This is a beautiful Crassula Baby's Necklace succulent starter plant. It has been rooted and established. The Crassula Baby’s Necklace plants are small, adorable succulents that make a wonderful addition to any home. They are native to the eastern cape of South Africa. They are also known as the Kebab Bush, Rosary Vine, and Concertica plant. These beauties have small, round, and fleshy leaves. They appear puffy and multicolored with green and dull red edges. The leaves create a fantastic Fibonacci spiral up the stems that create amazing patterns. Crassula Baby’s Necklace plants start to produce small white flowers at the top of their leaves in the late spring to early summer. They enjoy an environment of indirect sunlight. Too much sunlight can cause the leaves of this plant to turn yellow and wither. It is best to put them in an area that gets direct morning sunlight and indirect sunlight or shade in the afternoon. They are a smaller plant and won't get much larger than 12 inches tall. These plants love a combination of peat moss, perlite, and sand with a slightly acidic pH level of 6.0 to 6.5. This soil mixture provides good drainage and aeration. It is best not to use a substrate like vermiculite because it can easily harm the root part of this plant. It does not have to be watered until the soil is nearly dry. It prefers a warm climate and will grow well outdoors year round in USDA zones 8b-11. It does best when the temperature is between 68°F and 82°F and the overwintering temperature cannot be less than 48°F. These amazing succulents are very easy to grow and maintain.
