This is a beautiful Himalayan Skies Sedum dasyphyllum succulent. It has been rooted and established. The Sedum dasyphyllum are a short plant that are part of the Crassulaceae family. As they grow, the spread can reach a length of up to 12 inches long. They have amazing blue to green and there will be white flowers that appear in the summer. They enjoy an environment of direct sunlight. Placing the plant in a window that is East or West facing is wonderful for them. These plants love a combination of 50% coarse sand, pumice, or perlite into the soil. This soil mixture provides good drainage and aeration. It does not have to be watered until the soil is nearly dry. This amazing succulent is frost hardy and will grow well outdoors year round in USDA zones 7-10. Indoor containers can be moved outside for the growing season but need to be acclimated gradually to prevent sunburn. They should be protected from excess rainfall and must be moved back indoors before any frost in colder regions. These amazing succulents are very easy to grow and maintain.
